(a) if we need more information to verify your fundraiser’s compliance with the Terms of Use or if we believe that a fundraiser or user has violated the Terms of Use;
(b) if we determine that we need to provide funds directly to a person other than the promoter, such as a legal beneficiary or a person authorized by law to act on behalf of the promoter;
(c) if we determine that activity in the prize fund poses an unacceptable risk to us;
(d) if such action is necessary to comply with a court judgment, order, or letter, or action required under applicable law or regulation.

Payment Processors Occasionally, a Donor may dispute a credit card charge for a donation made through the Services or request a refund under the GoFundMe Guarantee. If the Cardholder does not allege that a fraudulent donation was made (i. e., the transaction was not initiated by the Cardholder), the Cardholder should always attempt to resolve the dispute with the Organizer or us before pursuing a claim.
We may use information submitted by you and/or available to us during the donation to review each charge and determine whether the reversal is lawful, and if we determine that the reversal is not lawful, to defend the reversal. In addition, because transactions processed by GoFundMe are donations without the expectation or exchange of goods or services, we will defend reversals other than fraudulent with reason codes such as goods/services not received or other codes indicating non-delivery.
If a Donor disputes a transaction with the card issuer, or if the card issuer disputes a transaction on the Cardholder's behalf and a reversal occurs, the Donor waives, without limitation, any GoFundMe benefits or protections related to that donation.
