The world's Igaming industry has grown rapidly over the past decade and has provided many entertainment options to millions of players. However, as in the prosperous industry, there are fundamental issues to be dealt with. In the world's best casinos, we believe that the industry must evolve not only profitable but also ethical, transparent and sustainable. Our mission is to guide players to online game brands that are committed to these values, which can make positive changes throughout the industry.
The Importance of ESG in iGaming
The environment, society, and governance (ESG) elements are important indicators of corporate ethical status and lon g-term sustainability. ESG indicators are indispensable in industries such as Igaming, which has a delicate balance between profits and responsibilities. BWC has launched a comprehensive review of 21 major casinos and sports betting operators to evaluate ESG performance. Our purpose is to provide a clear and reliable information about which brand is committed to ethical practice and which is a shortage.
Key Findings from Our ESG Assessment
Our survey focuses on four important fields:
Transparency: We have investigated how companies own, operate and ESG have opened it. Transparency is the basis of accountability. The survey reveals that there are significant differences between listed companies and no n-listed companies.
He evaluated the existence and quality of the ESG plan, the ESG plan of companies specializing in general environment, society, and administrative factors. Many companies have issued a statement on responsible gaming and sustainability, but few companies provide specific data or set targets that can be measured.
Compliance in fields such as compliance marketing, privacy, security, ant i-money laundering (AML), and player protection cannot be obtained. According to our survey, all companies have experienced some regulatory measures in the past. This highlights the current challenges of balancing profitability and legal and ethical obligations.
Thir d-party data: In order to gain a wider field of view, a thir d-party evaluation was also investigated. These sources provide valuable insights, but may lack consistency or depth. However, CSRHUB data was a beneficial benchmark, especially for companies that were difficult to evaluate.
Promoting Ethical Brands
