Hello, I have been an MGM member for quite some time, but this visit to Las Vegas gave me a sense of purpose. I am really disappointed with this hotel and am currently emailing all the corporate consultants about this issue. I have stayed at this hotel many times and there are always issues with the room not being ready on time, not being clean, smoke, staff asking for tips in exchange for extra soap and towels. And I never complain. On this last trip, I waited for hours for my room. After a 7 hour flight, when I finally got in and rested, the room was filthy with tissue and hair, and the pillows and sheets had black stains on them probably from makeup (pictures included). I waited patiently and accepted the offer. I never got an email, I never got an email. The whole hotel is spotted with all kinds of cigarettes. Everyone is smoking in the hallways and elevators. I shared this room for my child's birthday. The hotel even sent balloons and a card to the room. I was very grateful. I also spent my birthday here and the hotel did the same for me. Both times it said "Birthday Celebration" on the bill.I am seeing an increase in franchise owners charging guests for undocumented "damages" after a stay. This practice is not customer friendly. This type of claim from this hotel has been under investigation for some time. If I caused any damage or made the room uninhabitable, please send me this documentation. Manager Carmelo refused to give me any information regarding the claim. I was never given a receipt for the room rate or any additional charges. The charges were only listed on the credit card bill. Andrew Koppel's commentI went to the MGM at National Harbor FPR for my 20th anniversary. It was good, but never place a bet at MGM! I placed a future bet and won. I waited until I got my cash back 7 months later because I live 2 hours away. I was told that my ticket was not valid after 6 months. No one told me and I was basically ripped off. Says Jessica Carchensteiner:We arrived on Friday, September 30, 2022, and were robbed late that night. Our luggage and cash were stolen from inside our locked room at the Luxor Resort hotel. Our debit card was stolen and fraudulently used at a nearby liquor and grocery store. We lost nearly $3, 000 in personal belongings and cash, and the next three days of our vacation were left empty-handed. Our entire vacation was ruined. We spent most of our time in Ubers trying to get back what we lost, as well as time waiting to speak to the hotel manager and security. The Luxor Hotel staff did not accept that something had happened on their property. They were rude, unprofessional, and unable to help us because we booked with Allegiant Air's football package.

Jeff Demarais's comment Terrible disappointing experience when checking into the room. Jake at the desk was kind and told me to come back if there was a problem with the second room. When I returned Boran told me he had gone to a meeting. Finally in a room that was really clean and had pictures on the wall.... I called the spa and was told that hotel guests can no longer use the spa without a massage or facial service. What happened at this hotel? The room is like a motel 8, the furniture is old and dented. Cleanliness is a big problem. There is a key for the phone. It works in the elevator. I rented a cabana for this coming Tuesday which was not cheap, otherwise I would have gone to another property. Very disappointing and it seems that management does not care about customer satisfaction. I will never stay here again. I would appreciate a call to discuss my experience. Thank you, Jeff. The cabinet that holds the box under the TV was broken and the inside was full of dust. They promised to move us the next morning but that never happened and I never got any help when I called. I didn't want to keep staying here but I had reserved a pool chair and I wasn't going to get hundreds of dollars back. I was trying to find a place to send pictures of the disgusting moldy bathroom but when I called they wouldn't give me any information. Jose Kanchiko commentOn Thursday night (one night), we booked a Well Luxury Queen room on the Detroit MGM for $ 350. Don't trust what you saw on the Internet. Luxor in Las Vegas, Nevada is the worst hotel I've been staying at since we've been in Las Vegas for nearly 10 years (excluding two years of COVID-19). I have stayed at several hotels so far, but I have never received such a service. Rio, Win, Mandalay Bay, etc. My husband and I stayed with a friend and Mary Land MGM several times, but there was no problem. Luxor is a series of MGM resort, and its goal states, "We are the United State s-based companies, focusing on providing the best hospitality to customers." My husband and I went to Las Vegas from February 22 to 28. Before coming to Las Vegas, I requested a pyramid king, 420 square feet, and one king size bed and made a reservation, but in the end it became two ful l-size beds. After we arrived in the room, we were very disappointed. The master contacted the front desk and said that we asked the pyramid because we thought there was a king bed. The person in charge we spoke insisted that there was no longer a room with a king bed because the chec k-in was slow (midnight), not us. I have over 188, 000 points on my card and was 20, 000 points away from being a Platinum customer. I looked at the website to check my points and to my surprise all my points were gone and I was back to 10, 000 points. I feel it is unfair to have my status taken away from me when I have been a loyal MGM customer.
