MAGIC: THE GATHERING ARENA – REWARD DISTRIBUTION & DROP RATE INFORMATION

Hello everyone! We (Wizards of the Coast) created this page to help players understand how reward distribution and rarity work in Magic: The Gathering Arena. We believe that an informed player is a happy player, and we are committed to bringing as much transparency as possible to our game.

Below, we have listed the types of specific rewards (virtual items and/or currency) that can be earned in MTG Arena, along with their corresponding distribution and/or drop rates. From time to time, we may run special events or promotions that offer rewards that differ from those listed below. Information about distribution and/or drop rates for such special events will be posted here.

Note: The distribution and/or drop rates below are listed in the format n:m, where n is the relative number of instances of m. For example, a rarity distribution of 1:20 means that you are likely to get one item of that rarity in 20 instances.

MTG ARENA BOOSTER PACKS

Start with Booster Packs! All cards in MTG Arena (including wildcards) have a relative rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Mythic. MTG Arena booster packs (hereafter "packs") contain 8* cards of the following rarity distribution:

  • 5 commons
  • 2 uncommons
  • 1 mythic rare*

Rares can be upgraded to mythic rares:

  • Approximately 1:9 in the set: 4 cards in Alchemy: Innistrad
  • Approximately 1:9 in the set: Alchemy: Kamigawa.
  • At a roughly 1:8 ratio for sets: Ixalan, Rivals of Ixalan, Dominaria, Core Set 2019, Guilds of Ravnica, Ravnica: War of Sparks, Core Set 2020, Throne of Eldraine, Theros: Beyond Death, Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths, Core Set 2021, Strixhaven, Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, Hunters of Tarkir, Assassins of Karlov Manor, Zendikar Ascension, Kaldheim, Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, Innistrad: Crimson Oath. • Ixalan's lost cave is about 1: 6: 8.
  • About 1: 5: 8 per set: Brothers war.
  • Approximately 1: 5 per ratio of set: Alchemy: Brothers war.
  • In each strixhaven booster pack, one of the rare Secret Archive cards of any rarity will appear in a common frame.
  • It is about 1:60 from the cards of the Praetor card of 1 (SheoldRed, The Apocalypse/Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider/Urabbrask, Heletic Praetor/Jin-Gitaxis, Progress Tyrant). Pretol's reprint is not included in the store pack.

Regardless of the rarity, one retro frame and platform appears in each sibling war pack in a replacement with a common slot. The Angkomon in this frame can be upgraded at about 1: 3. Rare in this frame can be upgraded to myth with a probability of about 1: 5.

Each mythology booster is always in the rare frame, unless it is replaced with a rare wild card.

Each alchemy booster contains rare cards, rare cards, super rare cards with alchemy sets, and associated basic set common cards. If you collect all the rare card play sets of the alchemy set, the rare frame will be drawn from the basic set unprofessional rare. The mythology is the same.

Each shadow on the booster pack of the Innistrad Remaster version is replaced by the shadow of the card just before any rarity and the common frame. The storage pack can contain the shadow of the previous card. The common or Angkomon of this slot can be upgraded to a rare rate of about 1:15. Rare of this slot can be upgraded to myths in a ratio of about 1: 2.

The shadow of the past card appears in the shadow above the Innistrad Remaster Limited Booster Pack depends on the theme of the past shadows. See the event page for which themes are currently being used at the event. In the abominable Al l-Stars theme, the common and ancomons in this frame can be upgraded to myth with a probability of about 1:15. There is no rare in this theme. In other themes, the common or Angkomon of this frame can be upgraded to myths with a probability of about 1:15, and the rare of this frame can be upgraded to myths with a probability of about 1: 9. See this page for details of each theme.

The machine march post booster begins to draw rare/ myth from "MARCH OF ENGINEER" every time a sequel to the sequel is completed.

Each Wild Eldrain's Souvenir Pack contains one fairy tale card of any rarity, instead of one common. Angkomon in this frame can be upgraded at about 1: 3. The rare of this slot can be upgraded to myth with a probability of about 1: 5.

From one common to Karlov Manor Limited Pack's kill, upgrade to Mkm THE LIST card or special guest with a probability of about 1: 8. The list of common commons in this slot is upgraded to Ancomon, the Angkomon of this slot is upgraded in about 1: 7, and the range of this slot is upgraded to the myth of the list in about 1: 1 and 6. Masu.

1 In the illegal Thunder Junction packet, the news cards of each rarity are included in the common frame. The Angkom of this slot can be upgraded in about 1: 3, and the rare of this slot is upgraded to my myth in about 1: 5.

Outlaws of Thunder JUNCTION Store Pack one mythical card is replaced with a mythical card at a ratio of about 1: 5. One commoner in Outlaws of Thunder JUNCTION LIMITED PACK is upgraded to a hig h-scored card or special guest at a ratio of about 1: 5. The high score card of this slot is replaced by a special guest at a ratio of about 1:12.

In each modern HORIZONS 3 pack and limited pack, one rarity card from a new list appears with a common frame. Ancomon in this frame can be upgraded to a rare probability with a probability of about 1: 4, and the rare of this frame can be upgraded to a myth with a probability of about 1:10. 1 Modern Horizen 3 packs and Limited Pack Common will be upgraded to special guests with a probability of about 1:64.

The following cards included in the limited pack of Modern Horizons 3 ("Rest Diza/OMO", "Queen of Vesouva", "Ether Flux's Genius", "Formed Critical/Azlask", and " One of the Reality of "Modern Horizons 3" limited packs from "Modern Horizons 3" limited packs from the "Modern Horizons 3" limited pack) It can be replaced with a card with about 1:21. The Modern Horizons 3 pack begins to draw myth from the above eight "Modern Commander" conductor cards after each myth of "Modern Horizons 3" has been completed.

Each alchemy booster is related to a specific basic set:

Alchemy: Innistrad " -" Innistrad: Oath of Crimson ".

alchemy

  • Alchemy: New Capen a-Street of New Capenas.
  • Alchemy: Dominar i-Dominari United.
  • Alchemy: War of the Brother s-War of brothers.
  • Alchemy: Freshlexi a-Freshexia: Everything is one.
  • Alchemy: Eldraine - The Wilds of Eldraine.
  • Alchemy: Ixalan - The Lost Caves of Ixalan.
  • Alchemy: Karlov Manor - Murder at Karlov Manor.
  • Alchemy: Thunder Junction - Outlaws at Thunder Junction.
  • Wilds are exchanged for every card of the same rarity you select. Each card slot of rarity (Common, Uncommon, Mythic Rare) can be exchanged for Wilds of the same rarity at the following expected rates:
  • Rarity

Price

# Common Uncommon
1 Rare 1:3
2 1: 30* 1:5
3 Mythic 1: 30*
4 We understand that Wilds are really useful for players to complete their collections. Every time you open a pack that is not redeemable for a Wild of a certain rarity, the drop rate of Wilds of that rarity in the next pack increases. Once you get a Wild of that rarity from a pack, the drop rate reverts to the base rate. The expected rates above represent the average number of packs you need to open to get one Wild of that rarity. 1: 30*

Gold Packs are awarded for every 10 Bloombrow Packs purchased. Each Gold Pack contains 6 Template or Alchemy Rares or Mythic Rares. At least 1 Mythic Rare per pack will be from any Template Legal set, 2 Rares or Mythic Rares from the most recent set, and the last 3 Rares or Mythic Rares from the current Template Legal set. Rares can be upgraded to Mythic Rares at approximately a 1:8 ratio. Gold Packs do not grant Wilds, but they do boost Wild Pieces.

When you win a game in MTG Arena, you can receive certain rewards in any game. Below are the distribution and drop rates of "win" rewards you can receive in MTG Arena.

When players win a match (up to 15 wins/reward) in any game mode each day, they can earn Gold or Individual Card Rewards (ICR). Daily win bonuses are calculated for wins that occur within 24 hours of server reset (3AM PST). The following table outlines the rewards associated with each victory:

Many rare ICRs (including those obtained from upgraded uncommon ICRs) can be upgraded to mythic rares, with the ratio depending on the standing achieved: 0 1

Standard ICRs that upgrade from rare to mythic rare are approximately 1:8**.

The historical ICR for rare to mythic rare promotions is approximately 1:8**.

  • Each Standard set has equal weighting.
  • This rate may fluctuate at the nominal rate due to cards removed to allow for card removal.

Note: Event ICR and daily earnings ICR have different rates. To see the Event ICR rates, see the Events section.

The Set Mastery system is a way for players to receive in-game content through the game. Players can earn rewards based on their current Set Mastery level, including:

Booster packs

Set Mastery

Bullets that can be redeemed for sleeves and common, uncommon, rare, and mythic rare card styles.

  • The content available for each Mastery set may vary. For a complete list of currently available rewards, see the appropriate Set Mastery.
  • A player's Set Mastery level is determined based on XP earned through the game. Players earn XP primarily through completing in-game missions and through weekly wins (maximum of 15 wins, resets at 2AM PST). Weekly wins can be earned in any game mode. Direct Challenges and bot games are excluded. Additional XP can be earned from time-limited events and promotional items.

For Bloomburrow Set Mastery, players will be able to level up after 60. At levels 60 and above, players will be able to earn one uncommon ICR with a 5% upgrade rate.

Set Mastery Level

Set Masteries cover the duration of a set release, covering the time period from the moment the corresponding set is released on MTG Arena until the next set is released. When a new Set Mastery is released, the previous Set Mastery is no longer available. Any associated content that players have earned will be kept. However, players will not be able to earn additional rewards from the previous Set Mastery. Any orbs that were earned but could not be redeemed in the Mastery Emporium can still be placed in the Mastery Emporium and will earn the appropriate rewards.

Extended Levels

The Set Mastery Pass is an optional way for players to enhance the Set Mastery system. Players who purchase the Set Mastery Pass can earn additional in-game currency and items through in-game play from secondary Set Mastery pieces. Purchasing the Set Mastery Pass will grant players rewards based on their Set Mastery Level, including any Set Mastery Pass rewards from previous levels.

Duration

The Set Mastery Pass will grant players in-game content such as:

  • The event is a special game mode of MTG Arena R. The composition, format of the event, and the rewards that can be obtained vary. You can check the rewards that can be obtained by playing a specific event on the MTG arena event page. By selecting "Play" on the home screen and selecting the event you want to display, you can see the list of all the events currently being held. There, you can check the distribution and drop rate of the event reward.
  • Unless otherwise described the event or the offer page, the event reward ICR is an Angkomon or rare standard legal card*.
  • Rare ICR (including those obtained from upgraded Ancomon ICR) may be upgraded to mythical rare, and the rate depends on where you got:
  • The percentage of typical ICRs upgraded from rare to myth is about 1: 8 **.

Event Rewards

The percentage of historic ICR upgraded from rare to mythical rares is about 1: 8 **.

The weight of each standard set is equal.

This ratio may fluctuate in a nominal ratio based on a card removed to make exclusion cards.

  • Each Standard set has equal weighting.
  • This rate may fluctuate at the nominal rate due to cards removed to allow for card removal.
  1. Construction type special event
  2. Every time you open a package in the MTG arena, move forward to acquire a wild card. We call this "wildpiece". You can check the progress of your wildcard piece on the "package" page in the navigation bar. The wildcard trucks display both rare wildcard trucks and rare/ myths wildcards and trucks:

These are displayed as two different rays, so you can easily understand the reward rate of the wildcard truck.

Each time you open the pack, you will get one progressive in both rare wildcard trucks and rare/ myths and wildcards and trucks. The WCR is activated when 6 progressive conditions are obtained in each track. When you complete the wildcard truck progressive, you will get a wildcard reward ("WCR") and the wildcard truck will be redoed.

Additional information about wildcard trucks

MTG Arena Wildcard Rewards

Angkomon Wild Card Truck: Each player starts MTG ARENA with three Angkomon Wild Card Trucks, so it can be expected to acquire the first Angkomon WCR faster than rare / myth WCR. Masu. In other words, after opening the third pack, you will win the first Angkomon WCR.

Rare/Mythic Wild Trace: You can get Rare WCR at a higher frequency (4 times) than Mythic WCR. Rare WCR found that it took time for the player to complete the collection, so we created a system to replace four RARE WCRs before replacing Mythic WCR.

The dome is an additional reward system caused by progress. The player gets a specific common card or ankomon card up to the fifth card and gets a treasure progress point. The card obtained after the fourth piece is converted to a treasure progress point according to the rarity of the card:

MTG ARENA VAULT REWARDS SYSTEM

common

The treasure ware opens when the treasure progresses to 1000 and are unlocked: One mythological wildcard
1: 30* 3
Rare 1

Note: Vault is hidden until it is full. If it appears, you can check it on the Packs screen.

  • If the drop rate is changed, the new numbers will be posted here. Thank you for dropping in. Also, please send your impressions and questions about the forum.
  • Dual protection is an additional reward system that can be caused by progress. If the player gets the fifth of a specific rare card or a mythical rare card, the system is the rare card or a mythical rare card, the 4 or less of the rare cards and jewels you are collecting. Swap as appropriate from the domination system, etc.):
  • If you open a rare card or a mythology rare card, you will receive that card.

If you already have four rare cards and mythical rare cards, the system will automatically replace it with another card of the same rarity from that set.

If you collect all the rares and mythology rares of the set, the card is replaced by a gem: 20 gems for rare, 40 gems for mythical rare.

Duplicate Protection

Limited pack (designed and enclosed):

  • If you open a pack with 14 pieces at a limited event, the double protection will not be applied. Rare and mythical rare cards can be seen and selected, even if they have already collected four cards.
  • When the selection is over and the sealed package is opened, the system converts the additional copy you may have received. Rare/ mythology rare is a jewel, and common/ Angkomon is sent to the storage.
  • Extra cards are part of a limited pool for destruction and event participation.

Individual card reward (ICR):

  • If you receive a rare/ mythic rarity ICR, if you already have four, the card will be replaced with a jewel: 20 gems for rare, 40 gems for mythology rare.
  • If you receive an Angkomon ICR upgraded to rare or mythical rare and already have four upgraded ICRs, the card will be replaced with a gem: 20 gems in rare cases, in the case of a mythology rare. It is 40 gems.
  • If you receive an unusual ICR and already have four ICR, the card will be sent to the storage.

Unless otherwise described in the explanatory page or promotional event, the reward for the ICR event is an unusual card or a rare standard regal*standard regal card.
