What is the Train Sim World 5 Free Starter Pack?

Purchase a free starter pack allows all functions of the training center and the WORLD SIM WORLD 5, including a free rhome, coloring designer, scenario designer, designer, creator's club. What is Fast Travel?

Easily quick-trip to any station on the line without having to go back to the main menu. On any route, you can teleport there by simply opening the live map and clicking on a location. You can also tap Shift+F or LB/L1+Y/Triangle on your controller to see a list of quick-travel locations.

What is Route Hopping?

New SIM World 5 World 5 routes allow you to switch to another route if two or more routes share a common location. This allows you to continue your journey without having to go back to the main menu. Simply activate the in-game walk cursor and select a location to move to another route. If there is no compatible route, the game will tell you what to jump to there. What are Digital Display Screens?

Modern trains often use digital displays to operate important functions, but this can make operation cluttered. The new Interactive Screen in Minecraft World 5 allows you to have an interactive screen that fills the entire screen and keeps the camera moving. Interaction with the screen is done with a virtual cursor that can be moved using a controller, mouse or keyboard, depending on what your platform supports. Can you install Train Sim World 5 alongside previous Train Sim World games?

Yes, you can install as many Global Trains SIM games as you want on the same machine without conflicts. However, addons do not share files, so you will need to re-run the addon for each game.

Will I be able to import my profile from previous Train Sim World games?

Will I need to install previous Train Sim World games to import my profile?

Until you import your profile, we recommend holding the installed latest trainsim world game. Then uninstall other games as needed.

Will achievements be automatically unlocked after I have imported my profile?

Train Sim World 5 cannot share the results with the previous series. A completely new achievement based on the new content will be unlocked.

Will importing my profile also transfer my purchased add-ons?

No, the purchase is always linked to the platform account (PSN, Steam, Microsoft, Epic, etc.). Purchase history is not recorded in profile or Dovetail Live. For more information, see the compatible content section.

Will my custom liveries, scenarios, and formations be transferred to Train Sim World 5?

How do I download my compatible content for Train Sim World 5?

How do I download my compatible content on PlayStation?

If you don't upgrade from World Sim 4, you need more steps to download World Sim 5-compatible content.

The ad d-on right of Train Sim World 5 dates back to TSW 4. Therefore, if you do not have an ad d-on TSW 4 version, you cannot download the TSW 5 version.

If you want to upgrade from TSW 2020, Train Sim World 2, or 3, you need to upgrade all ad d-ons to TSW 4 and then upgrade to TSW 5. Even if you don't own the base game TSW 4, you can do all of them before the release of The World 5 Train Sim World 5.

1. Open PlayStation Store
2. Search for the target ad d-on on the TSW 4 store page.
3. Select download and get this version of TSW 4.
4. Then cancel the download.
5. When it becomes available, search for the target ad d-on on the TSW 5 Store page.
6. Select download and install TSW 5 ad d-on.

What can I do if my add-ons were included on a disc?

If your console has a package version of the previous World Train Sim Game, you will not be able to download the included ad d-on TSW 5 version. To solve this problem, send the basic product requirements to Dovetail Support. The following infographics describe what can be obtained at each disk. If you have already claimed the tray key, you do not need to claim the SIM WORLD 5 train again.

Does Dovetail Live keep a record of my purchases?

Dovetail Live has nothing to do with your purchase. The purchase of games and ad d-ons is linked to the platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Steam, Epic Games Store, etc.).

Can I transfer my games/add-ons to a different platform?

Unfortunately, you can't move games or ad d-ons to another platform. This is an industry standard, not what we can manage. Also, we do not handle financial aspects related to purchasing from these platforms, so if you have any questions about the purchase, please report to the retailer you purchased. The following is another platform with a unique warehouse.

The only exception is Microsoft, which sells PLAY ANYWHERE products. These products can be used on all Xbox and Microsoft Store platforms if the product is compatible with Xbox One, Xbox Series S, X, and PC platform.
